Price StabilityEffective September 1, 2023, program participants will pay fixed rates for electricity.3
ParticipationAll eligible residents and small business electricity customers are automatically enrolled. No action is required. Should you not wish to participate, you may opt out without incurring cancellation fees and penalties. Those who opt out will receive electricity supply from RG&E.4
1. RGE 12-month trailing average for October 1, 2023 – September 30, 2024 as defined by the Public Service Commission. ↩ 2. Gross Receipts Tax (GRT) is included in your electricity bill in the City, whether or not you participate in the CCA program. If you are a program participant, the residential or small commercial rate with GRT will appear on your bill. ↩ 3. There's no guarantee that the CCA fixed rate will be lower than the monthly variable RG&E rate in any given month or over the life of the program. ↩
4. Time of use customers and those who have selected an alternate supplier will not automatically enrolled.↩
